I've eaten at a lot of Chinese buffets but none compare to Oya House. The food is always hot and good, the service is quick and they always make sure that the buffet bar is full. The waiters and waitresses are good at making sure that we have plenty to drink. It's a very affordable place to eat and clean.

It's decent. Not too much to say really. This is your average Chinese buffet. Food was hot and good. Service was attentive and pretty fast. Atmosphere was good. The place wasn't too crowded at lunch but was steady (which shows that it's good). If you're in Union City, it's worth a go.

Very good sushi. I was actually shocked at how good the sushi was. The bar wasnt near as good as the sushi. Don't get me wrong. The bar was good but the sushi was superb!

I have had real Chinese and I have had real American Chinese food, having lived in many locations where Asian foods are the norm. I have tried several different Chinese locations since I have come to Tn and have yet to find one that can really make a decent meal, yet they are highly rated.
This place is a place I would have placed in as I have a 2 star max as the food is edible but not necessarily good. the flavors are all the same, the food is not rotated or even stirred to make it at least stay evenly cooked but in stead it just gets that nasty ick on it from sitting so long, the meat is subpar at best. I am still waiting to find a real Chinese meal that I can stand back and leave happy in this part of the country.
The place is ok if you don't really care what your getting, or the quality and you are just hungry, but for a decent meal, I wouldn't recommend it personally. -

Noticed all the reviews for this place were old and they have obviously done some recent remodeling and updating.
We did not try the sushi/hibachi side this time but the buffet was 4/5 stars. I would definitely come back to try the other side!
Several items were simply "buffet quality". Then there were a few that were really good. The fried rice tasted like hibachi fried rice and was amazing. The sweet & sour soup is the best I've ever had off a buffet but doesn't touch what I've order in restaurants. The sushi on the buffet was edible but that was about it.
Our waitress was very sweet and drinks styled full.
The restaurant and bathrooms were very clean and well decorated.
Would definitely recommend for the area.
